The Bost Company was founded in 1891 by the Bost Brothers in Laissey, France specialising in the manufacture of pliers and hand tools. In 1990 there was a merger between Garnache-Chiquet and BOST thus creating BOST Garnache Industries.

BOST Garnache is now the number 1 manufacturer of screwdrivers and male wrenches in Europe and the number 2 manufacturer of pliers. It has a turnover in excess of €21 million, employs over 500 personnel and is represented by nearly 3,000 retailers worldwide.
